Our Founders
Georgetown Eco Consultants was founded in January 2021. Taotao Li (SFS’ 22) and Alanna Pearson (SFS’ 22) wanted to form a student organization that bridged the gap between student interests in business and the environment. The goal was to create an organization that would allow students to explore the field of environmental consulting, given its rising prominence as an industry, while also giving back to the local community. Both passionate environmentalists, hoped that GEC can help create a greener and more sustainable DC.
Our Work
In the previous year, Georgetown Eco Consultants has hired 31 new consultants, created five project teams, and has worked with 9 local and national businesses and non profits. We continue to work to increase both Georgetown’s and other businesses awareness and mitigation of environmental impact.
